The 2011 Official Calendar of the Department is now available from the office of the Agriculture, Information Officer, Directorate of Agriculture, Cleve Colony, Shillong-793003. The calendar depicts the markets in Meghalaya with special reference to market days of important markets in Khasi, Jaintia and Garo Hills districts. The calendar also shows the lunar activity of the month,which is very useful for farmers before undertaking their agriculture operations.
The calendar has been designed by an up and coming local designer working for overseas clients.
This calendar is meant to be distributed to all the Officers of the Department of Agriculture, the District, Sub-Divisional, CD Block and Circle offices of the department. The calendar can also be given to farmers of the respective areas. Since we have printed limited copies as per our budget, it will not be possible to distribute the calendar to all farmers in the State.

Well this is very sad news to read that your friend passed away. Its also much heart when such friend were so closed and we work together on any project.
